Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Gilbert\’s Bar House of Refuge Museum is a museum displaying historical maritime artifacts, personal items and furnishings belonging to the House\’s \’Keeper\’ and family, shipwreck artifacts and much more. Free of charge.

Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is located on a U.S. Coast Guard Base, offering climbing tours of the landmark 1860 Jupiter Lighthouse, and exhibits in the waterfront History Museum located in the restored WWII Naval housing quarters building.

Mel Fisher’s Treasure Museum is a working conservation laboratory used to preserve artifacts recovered from underwater with an observation window for viewing conservation work from inside the museum.

E. Backus Museum and Gallery is a 5,000-square-foot public visual arts facility established in 1960 by A.E. Backus and a group of local art enthusiasts. Area Events & Venues

Music at the Mansion is a free monthly music concert series held on the first Sunday of every month, March through the first week of December. The Mansion at Tuckahoe plays host, located in Indian Riverside Park in Jensen Beach. Bring a cozy chair or blanket, savor food and beverages available for purchase and enjoy fun activities for the whole family.

Rockin\’ RiverWalk Music Series takes place Sundays along the St. Lucie River boardwalk Riverwalk Stage in Historic Downtown Stuart. Attendees can visit local vendors, and enjoy live local music from the decked amphitheater, from their car, or from the river by boat.

Jammin\’ Jensen is a local favorite, held Thursdays in Downtown Jensen Beach, with free entry and featuring local arts displays, crafts, music, vendors and family entertainment.

Those looking for an extraordinary waterfront shopping experience, the Fort Pierce Farmers Market offers an amazing array of local vendors with delicious foods, farm-fresh produce, meats and cheeses, seafood, baked goods, coffee and tea, flowers and plants and much more. The market is held every Saturday by the marina downtown.

Treasure Coast Seafood Festival is a seafood lover’s dream come true, featuring a wide variety of seafood delicacies. This family-oriented event also features a local business and nonprofit organization showcase, nautical vendors with unique merchandise and services, original arts and craftsmen displays, live music and a special kid’s zone.

Celebrate our nation’s heroes at the 36th Annual Muster and Music Festival at the National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce. The event features live music with food and beverages for purchase, and performances staged on top of an MK-V Assault Craft.

The impeccably restored, 1,200-seat Sunrise Theatre is located in Historic downtown Fort Pierce, offering visitors the chance to experience magical Broadway shows, country stars, classic rock icons, ballet performances and musical and comedy acts. The state-of-the-art Black Box Theatre is on-site as well, presenting a variety of national, regional and local arts and culture programming.
